focus INDIA – EDUSHIP Project encourages parents to send their school-going children to school, lighten their financial burden on school education and sustain their efforts to support their children to complete education. Empowerment through education, which is one of the objectives of the scholarship programme, has the potential to lead to the upliftment of the socio-economic conditions, to establish an enabling environment to reduce the dropouts and to promote enrollement of young children in schools.
