NIRMAAN 2030

NIRMAAN-2030 is a project aimed at uplifting the most backward villages of North and North East India. The project shall initially concentrate on the most backward villages in Assam, Bihar, West Bengal, and Jharkhand. As a first stage, the project shall be executed in Assam.

Building a Sustainable Future: NIRMAAN-2030 in North East India

Focus India under their NIRMAAN-2030 shall develop 10 villages situated in the Marigaon district. There is a lack of support from the local bodies and the involvement of NGOs and other voluntary organizations in this region.

The development of these villages shall focus on the overall sustainable and inclusive development of the area. We shall also monitor the execution of the
project till its completion. We shall be responsible for the continued supervision even after the execution of the projects. We shall ensure that the
beneficiaries do not dispose of the aid provided by us.

AREAS OF PROJECT

NIRMAAN 2030 project constitutes planning, development, execution, monitoring, and continual improvement of:

i.COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CENTRES

A community development centre will be the focal point for all the development to be undertaken by the community under NIRMAAN. The community centre shall be accompanied by Common Service centre, Government of India e-Services to rural and remote locations where availability of computers and internet was negligible or mostly absent.

ii.QUALITY EDUCATION

The quality of education standards provided in the area is weak. The teachers are not qualified with ample knowledge and experience. We are proposing to gradually increase the quality of education in the area. In the initial phases, NIRMAAN empowers teachers and parents to increase the enrolment ratio in the academies and work on to build centres of quality education.

iii. HOUSING PROJECT.

The geographic location of Marigaon District is its vicinity of Brahmaputra river basin.The area is prone to seasonal flooding of river; especially during monsoon. The population has assimilated to survival mechanism, but faces threat in rebuilding shelters. NIRMAAN Housing Project addresses the issue and looks forward to solve the crisis through necessary measures

iv. SKILL DEVELOPMENT CENTRE

Skill development is entrusted with planning, implementation and regulation of Vocational Education and Training tol empower youth for technical skills. This balances the demand and supply of skilled manpower, skill up-gradation, the building of new skills and innovative thinkin follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship

v. DECENT WORK & ECONOMIC GROWTH

In Marigaon, 80% of livelihood is through Agriculture, which is subject to loss due to excess rainfall and flood. The mission is to solve the crisis with an objective of permanent income for villagers through self-employment. The plan includes better utilization of local resources for better livelihood and economic growth
